Due to logistical difficulties, SYBERBERG has decided to
put together two different line-ups for THE HATED REIGN. The original line-up
will continue in the NORTH and a separate one has been formed in the SOUTH. The
time has come to divide and conquer.
The NORTHERN line up is: SYBERBERG,
STAV & HYMERS. This version will be recording a few songs in DECEMBER 2000.
A drummer is also being sought.
The SOUTHERN line up is: SYBERBERG,
EDDS(bass guitar) & ROSS(guitars). This version will be rehearsing for gigs
at the beginning of the New Year. There may well be some recording as well.

Ross has, unfortunately, been
dismissed from the Southern line up of THE HATED REIGN. His playing ability
wasn't in question, he just lacked the necessary commitment.
January 3, 2001
Recording sessions in December have
resulted in the following songs finding their way onto tape - NO FLESH(SHALL BE
SPARED), REMAIN, DARKFLAME, UNSIGHTED. These songs will be uploaded onto the
site. These are just live demos recorded in a hurry, so the quality isn't great,
but it'll give you an idea of what the finished product is capable of. We
managed one day in the studio and recorded THE FLIPSIDE RATIONALE. This is a
studio demo. The quality of the recording is far superior. This will also be
uploaded as soon as various technical difficulties are resolved. At this point
the band would like to thank PETER FIELDING for piloting the drum kit at very
short notice.

"THE HATED REIGN have been recording
again. New songs are SOMETIMES, SURRENDER and JUST ANOTHER YESTERDAY. Again,
these are demos but of a good quality and SYBERBERG is very pleased with them.
One reson for the delay in putting any songs up here. There are no appologies
for this.
A bit of bad news. EDDS has been forced to remove his bass
playing abilities. He does remain available for the moment, but for how much
longer is uncertain."

The Hated Reign have been recroding again and have finished the demos for the following songs: SOMETIMES, JUST ANOTHER YESTERDAY, SURRENDER, BEYOND THE SAVAGE SHORE (parts 1& 2), DARKFLAME, DUST ANGEL, I CAN SEE HER. These are not on the site as yet, but will be available in the near future.
